HOW TO MAKE AN EASY CROCHET CAP USING DC (FREE PATTERN)

Size: For adults & teenagers
Materials: Yarn, crochet hook, needle, scissors, button (optional)
Crochet hook & yarn: any of your desired choice
Abbreviations:
sl st: slipstitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
tr: treble
PROCEDURES:
1st row: Wrap yarn thrice on your finger to form ring,24dc in the ring on your finger
2nd row: 2dc in each of the
hole of the 1st row till row is completed
3rd row: 2dc in a single hole & 1dc in next two holes, repeat this process till row is completed.
4th row: 2dc in a single hole & 1dc in next three holes, repeat this process till row is completed.
5th-13th row: 1dc in each of the holes till row is completed. You can mix colors like I did in the 12th&13th row,the color of yarn used in 12th&13th row was used for my flower.
To complete cap: with same yarn used in 12th&13th row, thread  needle & sew short stitches from 9th row down to edge of cap & back up again, tighten yarn to make gathers & tie off. But make sure you have turned the cap inside (wrong side) so that the thread won't show on the right side which you have just turned in.
Finally, you can attach flower or choose not to,that depends on you anyway.
HOW TO CROCHET THE FLOWER
For the 1st flower(big):
Wrap yarn on fingers, 15dc in the ring. Then 1sc,1hdc,1dc,1tr,1dc,1hdc all in a hole ,repeat this process in the next hole till it's up to 7curves forming flower, finish off & weave in ends.
For the 2nd flower (small):
Wrap yarn on fingers, then 1sc,1hdc,1dc,1tr,1dc,1hdc all in a hole. Repeat this process in next hole till it's up to 7curves forming flower, finish off & weave in ends.
Now attach the flowers to the cap above the gathers formed(button should be attached in middle of  small flower & small flower to be attached on big flower with thread).
