HOW TO CROCHET A BROOCH

Size: It varies depending on the yarn & the size of hook.

Materials: Yarn,crochet hook,fibulae or safety pin,needle, scissors.

I used two colors- navy blue & sky blue.

Crochet hook: hook size will vary depending on the yarn chosen for the project.

I used Yeye yarn & a size T.ROSE-1 hook.

Abbreviations:
tr- treble
dc- double crochet
hdc- half double crochet
sc-single crochet
slst- slip stitch

BROOCH:
Rnd 1: wrap the navy blue yarn on your

finger thrice to form a ring, 13dc in the ring.

Rnd 2: change color to sky blue (slst inside the navy blue loop with sky blue in order to change color). 2sc in each hole (i.e sc twice in each hole till end)

Rnd 3: change color to navy blue. Then 1sc,1hdc,1dc,1tr,1dc,1hdc all in one hole. Repeat this process in next hole till it is up to 9 curves forming a flower. Finish off & weave in ends.

NOTE: make sure each curve is the Sam & not overlapping each other.

Rnd 4: Turn to the back of the flower made, attach your fibulae or safety pin to the back of the flower, sew with needle & cut off ends with scissors. But make sure you are not sewing your fibulae in the wrong direction.
